ABC is said to be selling 30-second spots during Super Bowl XL for between $2.5 million and $2.6 million , which would be a record price for Super Bowl ads. (More than 86 million people watched the Super Bowl last year in the U.S., according to Nielsen Media Research.)
In addition, Comcast Digital Cable customers will be able to view these commercials on demand for all of the next week!

Super Bowl XL will be held at Ford Field in Detroit, MI this Sunday. The ~67,000 tickets will be distributed accordingly:
34.8% -- go to the other 29 teams in the NFL.
That's 810 for each (or 23,490 seats in all) for this year's game.
17.5% -- go to the NFC championship team.
That's 11,812 seats.
17.5% -- go to the AFC championship team.
25.2% -- go to the NFL home office. Minus 500 pairs for the fan lottery, that's 17,010 seats. That's where the majority of corporate people would be.
5.0% -- go to the host-city team. That's 3,375 seats.
